Work location : Abu Dhabi
Job Description:
Candidate must have the following:
1.IT / Computer Science graduation from a reputed organization
2.Software development and support experience of not less than 2-3 years with hands-on technical role in a reputed organization.
3.Experience is requirement gathering and analysis , data analysis for users in IT projects ,liase with customers to understand the business requirements and with different stakeholders for project execution, work with vendor for deliverables ,tracking of customer issues and periodical management reporting .
4.Candidate must have experience in Application development, support and maintenance using Java/Dot Net technologies etc.
5.Candidate must have solid development & user support experience for solutions that use SQL Server, Oracle etc.
6.Candidate must have Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
7.Should be able understand & write SQL queries & procedures as needed to support the business users and assigned projects.
8.Should be able to join in a month’s time.
Role Purpose:
9.Support project activities and post go-live activities from IT/Technical side by reporting to the technical lead / project manager.
10.Be part of the team for implementing & supporting Risk systems relating to regulatory and Digitisation initiatives of Group Risk Management business segments .
11.Prepare the technical specification, functional specifications for assigned projects in discussion with vendors, Business Analyst or Business users for implementation .
12.Participates in the business Workshops or Business Meetings with respective Team Leaders for detailed analysis and design of the expected systems with vendors or internally
13.Provide technical guidance, information and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.
14.Responsible for the development of related software modules, components, integration modules, bespoke development for the projects as required
15.Recommend multiple technical option /solution with appropriate information for the team leader to choose a particular option
16.Make technical recommendations on solution and systems to improve processes.
17.End to End Ownership of Risk System applications in the cluster.
18.Trouble shooting and resolution of critical issues on applications within the cluster
19.Follow-up and track services, co-ordinate vendor support issues, respond to service tickets in a timely fashion
20.Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services
21.Completion of assigned tasks to satisfy the user's needs and within the agreed upon time parameters
22.Application management and production stability after change movement
23.Provide First line and Second Line Support to all the assigned applications
Excellent knowledge of JQL
