E-Channel Production Support Engineer roles and responsibilities :
- Responsible to provide technical support for Microservices/E-Channels production systems within.
- Define and meet scalability, availability, security, and performance goals.
- Passionate about application integration patterns, Microservices and container architecture.
- Extensive experience with standard financial solution components such as core banking, payments, cards, e-channels, reconciliation, and GL integration.
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools and best practices in DevOps
- Provide technical support for initiatives and track projects/BAU requests/ CRs to closure.
- Articulate and document business requirements for projects, change requests etc.
- Follow-up with service teams/vendors for support issues and respond quickly to service tickets in a timely manner
- Participated within an Agile/Scrum team, extensive hands on experience with quality assurance methods.
- Provide relevant stockholders with required technical support, assessments, and reports.
- Mitigate risks and close audit points if any on the applications and processes.
- Closely monitor the incidents tickets and problem tickets and close them before the breach of SLA.
- Understand the latest technology trends and provide improvement suggestion in the products.
- Review the proposal and provide feedback on the same to ensure the completeness of the scope and quality
- Provide periodic reports and monthly updates on the ongoing initiatives to department head.
- Facilitate and UAT of projects, CRs by adhering to Quality control policies and guidelines.
- Support “go-live’ and post ‘go-live’ activities for projects and any releases to production.
- Comply with IT processes, and procedures.
- Ensure business continuity by conducting periodic system health check, DR rehearsal, security updates, technology updates, backups, hardware maintenance, software maintenance, license maintenance, and technical design improvement to assigned systems
- Attend all the team meetings, one to one meetings to have a high level of communication culture.
- Timely response to email, tasks assigned and diligent follow-up with various stakeholders.
- Expertise in setting up project specific environment on Linux/Unix platform that involves CM branching, merging, labelling, Baseline and development work areas
Required Technical Skills
- Experience in Mobile App design and architecture.
- Experience in Web services design knowledge (soap, rest, micro services, and design/run time governance).
- Deep expertise in Microservices based application technology foundations (Java Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Struts, NodeJS, Docker, API Management, etc.)
- Experience in Message Oriented Middleware: Kafka, MQ Series, Sun One Message Queue, RabitMQ, MQ, ActiveMQ
- Experience in database : SQL Server , Oracle, DB2, DataFlex, MS Access, MySQL, Sybase
- Mobile Banking experience is needed
- Experience of technical as well as functional J2EE/ DevOps/ Production Support.
- Deployment strategies and the coordination of architecture changes for rapidly evolving project.
- Monitoring (APM) technologies like AppDynamics, Kibana , Grafana, Elasticsearch.
- Experienced in Scripting(Bash/Python
