Job Title: Modern Desktop Administrator

Location: Dubai

Job Role

• A modern desktop administrator is responsible for deploying, configuring, securing, managing, and monitoring devices and client applications in an enterprise environment.
• They also manage identity, access, policies, updates, and apps. As a modern desktop administrator, you need to be proficient in Microsoft 365 workloads, Windows 10/11, and non-Windows devices.
• You should also have strong skills in cloud services, device management, and data protection.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Deploying, configuring, securing, managing, and monitoring and client applications in M365 Cloud .
• Managing identity, access, policies, updates, and apps.
• Planning and implementing a Microsoft Intune device management solution.
• Managing device compliance and conditional access policies.
• Configuring Windows 11 devices by using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Managing Windows 11 updates by using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Deploying and updating applications by using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Troubleshooting devices and applications by using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Managing data access and protection by using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Leveraging Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to protect devices from security threats.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 cloud pc infrastructure, including virtual machines, networks, storage, backups, security, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud pc performance, availability, and functionality
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures for cloud pc administration, such as access control, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and compliance
• Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth integration and operation of cloud pc services and applications
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders on cloud pc usage and best practices

Education & experience:

• Bachelors Degree
• 4-6 years experience
• Microsoft Modern Desktop Administration Certification will be Plus.
• Azure fundamentals and other relevant Azure certifications
