Job Title: Process Analyst
Location: Dubai
- As a Process Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of stakeholders, including customers and end-users.
- You will play a crucial role in evaluating the financial aspects of business opportunities and identifying both financial and non-financial benefits of proposed solutions.
- Additionally, you will work on projects applying DMAIC methodologies and various analytical tools to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather customer requirements and identify business needs.
- Evaluate financial aspects of business opportunities, quantifying the benefits of proposed solutions.
- Establish scope and parameters for requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis, defining project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Implement DMAIC methodologies in projects, including preparing CTQs, SIPOC, Process Maps, executing VSM, conducting Fishbone analysis, Control Impact Matrix, and FMEA (as applicable).
- Create and maintain project documentation, including business cases, requirements documents, solution design, development plan, UAT scripts, project communication log, activity tracker, and backup plan.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes, developing strategies for enhancement.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Translate conceptual customer requirements into clear functional requirements for developers and the project team.
- Develop process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide guidance to developers and project team members.
- Conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of issues and solutions.
- Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with various stakeholders.
- Gather critical information from meetings and produce useful reports for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Perform user acceptance testing to validate the functionality and effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Education & experience:
- An undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant master's degree.
- Knowledge of Financial terms and concepts like AP, AR, Treasury, etc. is MUST.
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Business Analysts.
- At least 4+ years of experience in a Consulting Firm or equivalent, with a focus on automation or process improvement domain.
- Strong ability to apply knowledge of organizational structures, functions, and procedures to solve
- problems and develop methods for implementing prescribed systems with the ability to predict the effect of recommended changes.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong proficiency in applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques.
