Job Description
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Attending customer's interactions and efficiently gather related information to fulfil customer needs.
- Ability to handle all types of interactions including voice, chat, email and social media.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the banks products, services & systems.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures corporate security policies, regulatory guidelines, industry service standards and codes of conduct.
- Maintain effective relationship with superiors/colleagues.
- Writing detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports based on input from the project manager or product manager.
- Ensuring that all requirements are met by testing all aspects of the application, including functionality and usability.
- Reviewing scenario flow to identify potential issues related to security, performance, and usability.
- Interacting with IT/Stakeholders to provide feedback about bugs and suggest improvements.
- Participating in team meetings to discuss project status and any issues that may arise.
- Reviewing test results with the development team to identify problems and determine solutions.
- Execute UAT test scenarios with 100% accuracy while documenting related proofs and sharing reports.
- All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.
Testers must have below knowledge:
- UAE VAT law knowledge
- Banking VAT transaction experience
- VAT System hands on
EGL & Surround testing:
- 12.3 Treasury & Trade – test life cycle of Treasury deals and accounting split impact between T/24 and EGL. Instrument level reconciliation.
- HR – work closely with HR team to execute payroll and other HR related cost to validate impact in the EGL
- AMS – Vendor Payment, Fixed Assets, Petty Cash, Depreciation, Accrual and Amortization to be validated in AMS to ensure relevant accounting entries are posted into EGL;
- VAT – VAT system would undergo with massive change due to structural change, all possible scenarios to be tested in detail. Existing level 1, 2 & 3 reconciliations to be revisited.
- Cards – all existing card related accounting entries to be tested.
- Matrix – work closely with Direct Equity Operation to ensure all existing investment related scenarios are executed and tested with cascading accounting entries impact into EGL
- Loyalty – test loyalty accounting entries generated from data warehouse and ensure same has been posted into EGL
- Ensure Inter-Bridge GL for each of the surrounding system is reconciled and zeroized as part EOD
- Test around 30 newly developed reports into EGL
Education & Experience:
- bachelor's degree holder in Finance
- Work experience in Finance on the Temenos system.
- Work experience in Finance with strong experience in accounting principles, VAT and reconciliations.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in UAT
