ESB Senior Developer (ESB)

Work Location : Abu Dhabi

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

• As a Senior Developer must exhibit following special skills
• Certification in IIB v10 & MQ v9.1
• Hands on experience API Connect Data power.
• J2EE Application
• MQ Explorer, SOAP UI, RFUtils, 
• Websphere Service Repository & Registry Server
• DB Design with experience in Oracle & MS SQL

Previous experience:      

• Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in SOA development activities of which minimum 2-4 years should be in a similar role in Banking / Financial industry.

Role and Purpose:

1.Must have experience of Banking, SOA Delivery methodology, SOA Center of excellence and implementation of SOA best practices

2.Knowledge of Banking Service standards such as ISO8583, IFX, Open Bank Project, ISO20022 and SWIFT. 

3.Core Service design experience that covers the following:

    a. Experience with Rest APIs

  b. Experience with Web Services.

   c. Experience with Implementing different Integration Design Patterns

   d. Knowledge of SOA Principles & best practices

   e. SDLC & SGLC processes 

   f. Creating HLD & LLD Documentation

4.Responsible for reviewing all changes pushed to production, Prepare deployment plans, Investigate and troubleshoot any reported issue or incident, Preform regular Health Check and House Keeping tasks, ensure system stability and continuity, work on improvements and Upgrades on current integration ecosystem, Support all other system activities like infrastructure and other systems.

5.Updates Contributed to best approach strategies for SOA implementation based on Service Analysis. Responsible for Implementing & delivering technical services for Multi-Tier & SOA Architecture.

6. Contributed to best approach strategies for SOA implementation based on Service Analysis.

7.Prepare technical designs documents for multiple projects .

8.Involved in inception/ strengthening of SOA practice. 

9.Strong Hands-on Development Experience at the following Areas:

• IBM Data Power Development & Administration 
• IBM API Connect Development & Administration
• ODM Development & Administration
• IBM ACE (IIB V11) & IIB V10.x Flow Development 
• ESQL Development
• Java Development
• Oracle/SQL DB Development
• IBM MQ V9.x related Tasks 
• BM WSRR
• Different Integration Protocols (SFTP, TCP/IP,MQ,JMS, HTTPS, WS,REST..)
• Security & Performance Best Practices
• prepare IIB Scripts under Linux System
• prepare MQ Scripts under Linux System
•  Experience with Testing tools like SOAPUI, RPT, RFT, Load runner & PostMan
•  Creates Unit Test Documents & Test case Scenarios.

10.Understand the business requirements.

11.Prepare IARs and related documents related to projects and tasks for approvals.

12.Support for UAT of projects and tasks including preparation of documents and approvals.

13.Track, resolve and report incidents and known errors through the approved Services.

14.Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.

15.Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users’ needs and within the agreed upon time parameters. 

16.Execute the ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives, Internal IT Objectives related to ADIB group including international expansion. 

17.Support “go-live’ and post ‘go-live’ activities for projects and any releases to production.

18.Support Disaster Recovery (DR) environment and ensure that DR requirements including related documentation are met. Take part in DR test drills.
