Job Title- TAX Analyst

Location - Dubai

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Support with preparation and filing of Monthly VAT returns for the tax group and ensuring payment of VAT liability
• Organize and update the tax database/Mapping through VAT Engine
• Preparation of various reconciliations reports
• Share financial entries with the accounting department and ensure at all times VAT GLs are reconciled
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Support businesses with their queries on VAT along with all subsidiaries

Education & Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Preferable to have Master's/ACA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• More than 3 years of diversified experience in the Field of accounting Finance, banking industry and taxation (indirect taxes)

Key Job Complexity:

• Work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Strong understanding of banking systems and hands on with office suite (MS excel & MS word)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to detect and assess VAT issues and risks.
