Backup Administrator 

Work Location : Dubai

JD:

• Administration of Backup Application EMC Networker & Avamar
• Able to manage the storage infrastructure setup along with Best practice and optimization
• Installation, Administration & break-fix of Quantum and HP physical tape libraries
• Install, configure, monitor and maintain Storage and Backup hardware
• Support for Analyzing, diagnoise and resolves problems associated with Storage and Backup infrastructure
• Coordinates with vendor software or hardware support to resolve system problems
• Perform tape media import/export, tape validation, data restoration, break-fix etc.
• Working as a team member with different project teams, technical teams and IT architecture team to formulate and document project architectural requirements. 
• Coordinate with IT team to work with technology vendors for projects
• Work with IT team to upgrade hardware and software components as required
• Ensure that each project that is implemented has documented designs on an agreed standard
