GDPR Analyst

Work location : Dubai

Role :

• We are looking to hire a Project Analyst – Data Privacy & GDPR who will be responsible for driving the project of GDPR compliance for our client based in Dubai- which is one of the largest companies in the region.
• The role sits within the Project Management Office and reports directly to the PMO Head and GDPR Head.
• We are looking for a Project/Business Analyst passionate about managing GDPR Compliance projects. You should also have experience in data analysis and change management.

Key responsibilities:

• Support GDPR compliance and data privacy projects for all the internal & external systems used by the client.
• Communicate with external vendors and determine current data privacy standards.
• Analyze data provided by vendors and create a comprehensive plan for risk mitigation.
• Analyze potential GDPR compliance breaches and support new risk controls implementation.
• Work with various business units to support data privacy controls implementation as well as drive GDPR awareness within the business.
• Cooperate with external data privacy consultants to implement various changes required for GDPR compliance adherence.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in project analytics or business analytics role.
• Preferable experience in General Data Privacy and GDPR standards compliance projects.
• Good understanding of the data privacy controls implementation in the complex enterprise-level environment.
• Experience in managing multiple external vendors.
• Very good communication skills – both spoken and written.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive change and awareness in the organization.
