Special Project Engineer 

Work Location : Abu Dhabi

JOB PURPOSE:

In order to increase the success of the projects, the candidate will be in charge of developing high-quality and clear project scopes of work and all related paperwork.

The candidate shall be able to produce excellent documentation that adheres to standards, is pertinent, and is simple to use. 

Wide knowledge and experience in Security Systems, projects, requirements, design, development, and implementation of the mentioned below systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expanding project programs offering and enhancing the quality of existing programs.
• Developing and implementing strategy for the program team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan.
• Understanding how different projects interlink and overlap
• Managing budgets and reporting on fund allocation
• Participating in tender and grant application process including design, submission, and review
• Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.
• Coordinating and running events and workshops
• Reporting on program performance to the management
• Security Systems projects requirements, design, development, and implementation.
• Coordinating with contractors to execute and deliver the project in timely manners.
• Project Initiation - Gathering Information, Project Charter & PNF (project notification form). 
• Identifying Project Scope.
• Project Planning and Design. 
• Coordinating with network team, system team, IT services team, application team, ADMCC and other authorities’ standards compliance.
• Sign-off the Business requirements specification (BRS)
• Scope of work: preparing detailed scope of work with design and quantities from all internal security systems projects for Ports Group teams and external stakeholders.
• Cost Estimation and BOQ- Cost estimation: Preparing approximate estimates with possible breakdown and getting approval from the financer and budget codes.
• Raising CR (Contract Request)
• Tender Clarification with bidders & Bidders’ quarries 
• Preparing TEC (Technical Evaluation Criteria) considering project nature.
• Reviewing and evaluating the bidders’ technical submissions and take necessary approval of the TER (Technical Evaluation Report) from management.

• .Tender Clarification with bidders & Bidders’ quarries 
• .Prepare and approve the TEC (Technical Evaluation Criteria)

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, IT or electronics.
